About
Amie is from a small town where great talent is raised...Charleston, West Virginia (yep, Jennifer Garner and Sam Trammell's hometown where they all attended George Washington High School). She now calls Orlando, Florida home.
Amie grabbed her BA in speech broadcasting from Marshall University in 1994, then began broadcasting for 16 years on-the-air at radio stations in Charleston, WV and Anchorage, Alaska.
In 1999, she began her voiceover journey and continues to help businesses big and small with their local, regional or national commercials, promos or corporate eLearning & training videos. Plus, hear her battle over the ocean as a war-torn navy pilot in the online game “Oil Rush” or as the sweet scarecrow and barnyard animals in the app for kids, “Sydney The Scarecrow” or the voice of “Mother” at Madame Tussauds ‘Alien Escape’ in London.
Last but not least, she’s the voice behind all Target stores self-checkouts reminding you to, "not forget your receipt"!

Work directly with me
Learn the craft of voiceover with lots of one on one practice with me every week or every two weeks. I’ll have you performing reads for commercial, corporate, eLearning, IVR, a bit of animation and audiobooks. Plus, we’ll look into marketing, studio setups, the business of VO and I’ll share my best tips about starting and maintaining your voiceover career. Radio taught me how to be a voiceover talent and I’ll be sharing a ton of those skills with you.
